There was such blatant false advertisement and deception for the one day sale for turkeys that was held today. First the meat market said to stop at customer service after you spend $20. He was actually polite and so was our cashier. We rang up our purchases with her after telling her we wanted a rain check. She smiled n said that customer service was right there but check back tomorrow for the turkeys because all we had to do was bring our receipt back n we could get our turkeys. Well your customer service rep was clueless and didn’t know what to say besides were out of rain checks ma’am. I told her what the meat market man said n asked if they would honor my purchase tomorrow. She then called another young lady who came from the top of the office. After we told her the same thing we told the first girl she rolled her eyes n said we ain’t giving them out . You don’t need a rain check because starting tomorrow they will be on sale till thanksgiving. Well then that created false advertising for you Rouses because it’s was advertised as a one day sale.

Fresh seafood available all the time. Excellent choice of meats. Helpful staff. Management will address any issues promptly. Great selection of all grocery item, fresh fruits and vegetables. Sushi available and made in-house. Delhi with hot lunches available. Clean restrooms. A nice place to shop.
Tonight I was totally disappointed n disrespected.
I didn’t appreciate driving 25 miles to get to this store and have your customer service desk treat us with so much disrespect. I’ve frequented the MORGAN city n New Orleans stores from traveling for my job but I’m sure even there I will be able to find a more honest franchise. I really didn’t want to give one star but that was the only way I could leave my comment. Teach your service desk some true customer service skills.
Rouses has excellent deals all across the store. The seafood is fresh with a fresh price and meats are perfectly priced. The staff is accessible and extremely helpful.
